Knowledge will bring you the opportunity to make a difference. - Claire Fagin
I am originally from Iowa and graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelors in Elementary Education. After graduating in 2003, I moved to Brazil and taught English in two private schools for a year and a half. In 2004, my husband and I moved to Denver. I worked at St. Anne's from 2004 - 2010. In 2007, I graduated from the University of Colorado at Denver with a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. My husband's job took us to southern California in 2008 where I taught for a year at a private school in Huntington Beach. I was the Learning Specialist for grades 3 - 5. In 2009 Newton's job took us to Nashville and I again was the Learning Specialist for grades 3 -5 at a private school called, Harding Academy. Fortunately, we were able to move back to Denver in 2014 and St. Anne's had an opening for a Learning Specialist for grades 3 - 5! It was like coming home. St. Anne's has always held a special place in my heart.
We have two daughters. Luana is 3 and Bianca was born on April 1, 2016. The girls keep me busy hiking, playing, exploring, reading, and dancing! Teaching is my passion, and I am incredibly grateful that I get to do what I love at St. Anne's.
